Our African Adventure

We just returned from a trip to Nigeria in West Africa. What a thrill! Lagos was the big and thriving city we expected to see. Such a diverse city in terms of economic levels...we saw the very rich areas and hot spots, as well as the slums and open markets. It humbled us and made us appreciate what we have, as well as inspire us to give back both at home and abroad.

Our African Adventure collection was inspired by this recent trip to Nigeria. On our visit, we met with a local seamstress who helped source the African prints used in our dress designs as well as sew the dresses for the entire collection. It was such a pleasure to give back in this way by supporting a local business in Africa. We hope to do a lot more of this in the future to help build economic power among minorities.
